After completing a finance degree following by law school, I joined a small defense company and quickly became a board member (and Company Secretary) focusing on commercial contracts, governance and business development and was part of the leadership team that grew the turnover from £1m pa to £26m pa in just over 4 years. Reached a glass ceiling and joined a large multinational company in the rail sector working in a commercial capacity on the largest and most sophisticated rail depot in Europe (c.£190m project). Within 2 years I was made project director and completely revamped the team and commercial approach to recover an 18 month programme delay to complete on time and on budget. I was subsequently made Operations Director of the depot I had built to bring into use the most sophisticated train in the UK on the most sophisticated rail network in the UK . 3.5 years later and we have opened the Elizabeth Line. Now looking for a new challenge potentially in a different sector where I can continue to grow my skills and network and have fun doing it. When not at work you can find me either travelling the world with my young family, socializing with friends, on the golf course or at a live sporting event.
