As a DEI leader, I have to influence without formal authority in a lot of contexts. I also have to empower others to understand their role in meeting DEI goals and how they can hold themselves accountable. Mentoring or coaching can help me support other leaders effectively, while effective execution of projects tied to strategic goals can help our organization’s DEI development.
