I spent 13 years caring for animals in a zoo. Over that time, I came to realize that proper animal care can never be achieved without proper people care first. I left zoos on a new path towards leadership coaching, organization development, and change management to better understand what we need to do to take care of our people. I joined the world of consulting to learn new skills and to also get the opportunity to challenge people to think differently. Leaders don’t know all the answers. They just ask really good questions. I’m on a quest to ask better questions to help spur new innovative answers from the teams I support.
