If a response to this question could have been skipped as not-applicable, that would have been my choice. I think Allen may have secret access to extra hours in a day. He somehow (very successfully) balances running a business with dedicating time to professional projects, staying active in the community, is a dedicated volunteer, manages family life, stays on top of his health, and finds time to be there for those who go to him for advice or need his assistance. Pretty much embodies someone I associate with having achieved their full potential.

I need to be better at helping my team, growing my team and providing more consistent and timely feedback. I need to assign more work and not take everything on myself and thus stifle their opportunities for growth. I need to only commit to things that I can actually deliver and not extend myself in areas that I know that there's a chance I will come up short. Setting my personal and family-focused goals with specific intention has already helped me (tremendously) maintain the work-life balance that I am seeking.
