I love working with early-stage teams, because there's an opportunity for everyone to have an outsize impact on the company and help shape company culture. I enjoy working with people who are willing to teach others and be teachable themselves. I believe this is especially helpful in smaller teams, so everyone can learn to be a "generalist" of sorts. I occasionally require time to process input—if I don't speak up as much during a meeting, it just means that I'm focusing on analyzing information before making an informed judgement or opinion. I'm an introvert and can sometimes find large group calls draining. I prefer working 1:1 with others or with smaller groups to go deep when problem solving. I'm a huge advocate for work-life balance. (I've never considered bragging about the number of hours logged in a week to be a badge of honor.) That said, I will always make time for any urgent issues that arise!
