I'm able, and good at, thinking in complex systems. This is why I was good at building complex technological systems and extends to organisational dynamics - I'm very good at understanding how things work (including systems with people in) and conceptualising the impacts of interventions.

I get very frustrated by bureaucracy, and will happily break rules to achieve the "right" thing.

I try hard to foster environments of productive situational conflict - where we can disagree, and even enjoy disagreeing, constructively. I would like to be better at handling relational conflict, where emotions can be high, and it is difficult to reach a resolution or leave the conflict behind.
