My parents immigrated to the U.S from India with very little, and because of social capital from a few influential people who uplifted my dad's work I grew up relatively privileged from an SES perspective. My parents told me to use my education and privilege for good, and that's been my north star since I was a college activist. I am so excited about the work we do at Common Group and will always say yes to opportunities to strengthen my expertise in systems change for an equitable world. As part of this, I love helping my team members however I can and showing up as a supportive peer - professionally and personally.
