My Achilles Heel is…
I sometimes get so focused on solving a problem that I forget others might need context or updates along the way. I’m learning to slow down, stay visible, and make sure my teammates feel supported while I dive in.
Full story😬😧🥴 Recently went outside my comfort zone…
The last time I stepped outside my comfort zone was when I moved to Portugal, leaving Canada behind. Every day still pushes me, new language, new culture, new ways of working and I haven’t fully “broken in” yet. It’s challenging, sometimes awkward, but also incredibly energizing.
Full storyEpic work fails
Early in my career, I supervised a team and made the classic mistake of thinking everyone should work the way I do. When they didn’t, I got frustrated and I failed at leading them effectively. It was a tough lesson but looking back, it was one of the most valuable failures I’ve had. It shaped how I manage and collaborate to this day.
Full storyOne thing that might surprise you about me…

Most fulfilling project I've worked on
The most fulfilling project I’ve worked on was developing policy and a full-scale program to support Ukrainians immigrating to Canada. From designing the framework to working directly with people as they arrived, I got to see our policies come to life in real time. It was incredibly rewarding to ensure the programs truly met their needs, smoothing their transition while they adjusted to a new life. Being part of something that combined strategy, compassion, and real world impact made this project unforgettable.
Full storyProud moment
I was thrilled when I got promoted and asked to join a massive, cross-border M&A project. The opportunity came on the back of a previous project where my work really made an impact, and it felt great to be recognized for it. Taking what I’d learned and applying it to such a complex, high-stakes deal. Collaborating with a global team, solving tricky challenges, and seeing it all come together was one of the proudest moments of my career.
