How I try to show up at work

HumbleHard WorkingCreativeObservantReliableTrustingPatientThoughtfulCuriousResourceful

These attributes are authentic to who I am, at work and otherwise. I don't lead by command, but with empathy and deep care for the people that make up the bigger system. My creativity shows up in my ability to solve problems, connect disparate pieces, and even in my ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

My areas for growth

Makes decisions promptly, even with uncertaintyMentors and develops teammates for their growthWilling to openly have difficult conversations

While I am effective at creating harmony, it can affect my decision making. At times, I will hesitate, second guess myself (or forget to include my own perspective), or make decisions more with the intent of keeping the peace (vs. driving a specific vision forward).

How I stand out

Collaborates effectively with teammatesCreates warm, caring relationships with teammatesPrioritizes common good over self-interestInvests and is interested in personal and professional growthClearly communicates purpose and vision

I value building deep relationships, and like to work collaboratively with others while bringing something to life. When dealing with the unknown, I see it as critical to integrate the perspectives and leverage the skillsets of others. I use my relationship skills to bring people together, and my storytelling abilities to align groups around a shared purpose. From this place, work becomes a mission rather than a set of discrete tasks.

Things that deeply motivate me…

Achieving the impossible

I love taking on new challenges that require me to learn and grow, and where the outcomes are uncertain. The things I am most proud of are the things that forced me to learn a new skill, or overcome an extreme obstacle. The results aren't always perfect. It's the adventure that I enjoy most.

You will make my freakin day if you…

tell me good job, and help me see how my uniqueness contributed to the success of something.
