How I try to show up at work

I'd like to work in a more diverse team, because that way we are better able to meet our colleagues' and audience needs. I like working at home as I get to see (or at least hear) more of my kids. I like to collaborate but could do with fewer regular meetings to make space for doing some work in between. I'm quite happy being part of teams that are spread far and wide and connecting online (but only when the tech works) and I do like to be able to congregate from time to time for strategic sessions with pizza/drinks and chat.

By taking time to plan a project properly and communicating how it fits in the strategic vision and how working on it will benefit us (as well as re-adjusting any existing project plans that it has an impact on) I will be a more effective digital leader, and by doing that we will have more structure within which colleagues can grow their responsibility.
