Delaying decisions can sometimes halt a flow effect of tasks/outcomes. I see this especially in recruitment. Being able to make decisions promptly will allow me to keep up with the fast paced work environment, even if the outcome may not be in my favour. Setting goals and being a high performer go hand in hand. It's a great way to measure performance and also address areas of improvement. Continually developing using goals, is i think, one of the most effective things you can repeat in the workplace. Part of the job is having difficult conversations, and while I'm not opposed to confrontation, I would like to build a thicker skin/the right type of empathy in order to have difficult conversations when I'm needed to.

I aim for these to be my superpowers as I value these qualities in other people when at work. Team collaboration, open communication and strong relationships makes working a smaller team more effective and productive. I believe I am more invested and motivated when I maintain a work life balance as it allows me to refocus and reset each day. I strive to be a calming presence in all situations and feel that this attitude specifically in difficult / stressful situations helps immensely. I have a strong interest in growing myself continuously and try to champion this for other people around me as well.
