I worry that my teammates might perceive me as…

A sporadic speaker that dominates the room when talking.

I have the tendency to talk a lot or take the lead in situations and more often than not I worry that for my more quiet teammates this might lead to feelings of annoyance or resentment. I have spent the majority of my life hiding who I am so now I tend to go into conversations boldly and passionately in order to make sure i'm staying true to myself and my ideals.

How I stand out

Maintains effective work life balanceStays true to own values with integrityWilling to openly have difficult conversationsMotivated by making community/world impactIntentional and strategic project planning

At the end of the day, you have to live with yourself so prioritizing wellbeing, staying true to yourself and willingly approaching difficult conversation that can bring change allows you to maintain your integrity and passion for your own ideals while making others comfortable in knowing that you can be successful while being yourself.

Things I want to learn cover image

Things I'd love to learn

New ways to connect globally and strategic culture initiatives

My biggest fear

Being worthless or not valuedBeing helpless, invaded, or overwhelmedBeing trapped, deprived/limited, or in pain

My Achilles Heel is…

Very easily distracted and quick to focus on the smallest of details.

Don't make material dry and information heavy. Always inject a bit of your personality in your work and allow for a moment of laughter so that the work can be driven by personality and bonding. Strong relationships/bonds drive strong output of support/work.

My areas for growth

Maintains clear long term vision that drives decision makingClearly communicates purpose and visionMakes decisions promptly, even with uncertainty

The magic word here is "clear". Being clear removes uncertainty and allows others to visualize your purpose and goals with minimal confusion. While they may not agree with your vision still, by having a clear plan in place, you remove potential roadblocks that can cause unnecessary frustration and conflict.
