My teammates might misunderstand me as someone who only thinks about catching the next wave, but in reality, I bring the same focus and energy to projects as I do to the surf break.

Most fulfilling project I've worked on
The most fulfilling project I have worked on was when I was handed the keys to a Dedicated store as a gesture of trust. It was an old location with an outdated concept, and I was given the chance to rebuild and rebrand it into what Dedicated stands for today — fresh design, sustainable fashion, and a strong local presence. Seeing the store transform and thrive after the change was one of those moments where hard work, creativity, and trust all came together perfectly.

Basically, if it involves waves, pixels, forests, or forecasts, people know I am the one to ask.
Full storyProud moment
I felt really proud at work during a big rollout as an Implementation Specialist. It was one of those projects where everything could have gone wrong — tight deadlines, complex integrations, a client nervous about the change. I ended up being the calm in the storm, guiding the client through every step like a mix between a tech whisperer and a cruise director. When we finally went live without a single issue, the client called me the “captain of the ship” because I kept things smooth and even cracked jokes during the most stressful moments.
Full storyOutside of work, you'll find me...
On a sunny Saturday, I start the day with a stretch before heading to my local bakery for a very buttery pastry and a good coffee. Then I take my old Ford Escort down to the surf break for a long session in the waves. Afterward, I make a fresh lunch with veggies from my garden and relax under an umbrella listening to the sounds of nature. As the afternoon rolls in, I meet friends in the vibrant town of Ericeira for a drink, some music, and good conversation.

Things I'd love to learn
A few things I would love to learn more about… how to renovate a house without ending up on a DIY fail video, how to finally land an air in surfing instead of just wiping out with style, and how to become the kind of quality recruiter who finds the perfect match every time.

My happy place

Surfing clears my mind, keeps me close to nature, and gives me the same sense of adventure I have been chasing since growing up by the sea.
Full storyA fun fact about me is…
For more than 15 years, I have been a dedicated World of Warcraft player, and for about 10 of those years, I led a raid team through some of the game’s toughest content. From 5-man heroic dungeons to 40-player Molten Core and Blackwing Lair raids, I handled strategy, recruitment, and the occasional loot drama. Leading a guild through progression raids taught me a lot about teamwork, patience, and how to keep morale high when Ragnaros just would not drop that one item we had been farming for weeks. It was a mix of strategy, leadership, and plenty of laughs — and yes, I can still call out raid mechanics in my sleep.
