I love being able to hear what I can improve on as soon as humanely possible! Other things like tossing a meeting on my calendar but providing context - like "Quick Sync - Good Thing" are small quality of life changes that can make it easier for me to approach and understand intent!

As I've grown professionally and personally, I've gained a lot of insight and perspective into what makes someone a strong team member, leader, and general human. I understand that the key to unlocking any potential - leadership, mentorship or otherwise - is to deeply and truly know yourself! Now that I understand where I am in this stage of my life, I'm equipped with experiences and strategies that inform how I continuously evolve into the person I want to be - even stronger, smarter, and more empathetic.

Things that deeply motivate me…

Making money💰Helping others ❤️Getting things done ✅Making my parents proud 🥺

Frankly, money unlocks a lot of things. Especially as a Black woman - more resources to help others in my community, myself, and most importantly - mental health! I love being able to give back my time to other BIPOC and queer folks - especially in a mentorship capacity - and it brings me tremendous joy to unlock their potential and help folks reach their goals. I always have a checklist (usually virtual) to keep me accountable for work, personal, and mentorship tasks. It brings me extreme satisfaction to check items off the list, even virtually! My parents and family are the reason for everything I have achieved and will achieve -they are my rock and have grounded me in reality through so much - I will always prioritize them!

I really appreciate it when folks are mindful of my heads down time while working (like when I'm wearing my headphones) and pinging me on Slack before approaching me in person :)
